19 June 2008. This is the critical edition of the ancient Armenian Bible in grabar. The Armenian translation of the Bible was made in the 5th century from the Greek (Septuagint) and Syriac (Peshitta) sources. The present edition contains the base text and the apparatus with the readings from mss based on the Venice edition of Dr H. Zohrabian published by the Mechitarist Congregation in 1805. This is the text used as the "arm" witness quoted in the apparatus of scholarly Bible editions such as the BHS and NA27. It is known simply as "The Zohrab Bible".
The present publication is the result of collaboration between The Bible Society of Armenia (Yerevan) and Bibles.org.uk (London). It has been typeset using the state-of-the-art technologies such as XeTeX/OpenType and professionally designed typefaces simulating the "look and feel" of the original 1805 edition. As with all Bibles.org.uk publications there is NO ROYALTY, i.e. the books are made available strictly at the cost of printing+shipping. These prices are set by the print-on-demand provider (Lulu.com in our case) and we have no influence over them.
The hardcover volumes can be purchased individually here:
Vol I: Genesis - Nehemiah (773 pages) Price £16.25
Vol II: Esther - Ezekiel (799 pages) Price £16.54
Vol III: New Testament and Additions (764 pages) Price £16.15
The split into 3 volumes was necessitated by the 800-page limit imposed by the print-on-demand provider (Lulu.com). The third volume contains (as an Appendix) the 1832 edition of the book by Aucher and Lord Byron called "A Grammar Armenian and English" originally published by the Mechitarist Congregation of St. Lazarus (Venice). This book is also available in Paperback separately (at 1/100th of the cost --- the same book is sold on abebooks.co.uk for £500).

Bibles.org.uk published the Second Edition of Bohairic Coptic New Testament based on the official Bohairica sources of J. Warren Wells. Whilst our First Edition was a rough draft along the lines of Horner's edition this is a much better/clean/standardised text of the same level of quality as our edition of Sahidic Coptic New Testament. It is available in both Hardcover and electronic (PDF) formats. Note: these editions are exceptions from our "no royalties" rule, but, again, we do not get any royalties. They go directly to the editor of these texts. Such arrangement was our voluntary decision.
Bibles.org.uk reprinted the third printed edition of Erasmus (1522) Greek-Latin New Testament. It is available here, This is the first printed edition which contained the Comma Johanneum (although in a rather unusual form --- how unusual? Buy this book (it's FREE!) to find out.)
